WOW, I was listening to this diggination videocast and according to Alex from this videocast, when the new 360 launches it will be priced at $399 (the price of the current premium 360) and the existing premium 360 will come down to $299. Of course Microsoft has not announced anything so please take this with a grain of salt. Mostly products are released in a Christmas to Christmas cycle. So don't expect any new product until the later half of this year.
But the games cost about $70 - $100 each. You probably can afford a XBox, but can you afford all your favorite games?
By the way, I tried not to enter the name in Author field (on purpose), but it catches it on site (Ajax?). Good job!

Yes the games are costly, but I think most people wait a bit until the prices fall below $45. Can't believe it, the games on the original XBox were priced at a maximum of $45. As I recall from a hindi movie (Sarfarosh), guns are cheap, it is bullets that cost money, and people would be willing to pay anything for it since without bullets guns are just bricks (Not sure if I should use such analogies here).
As for the author field, I have a RequiredFieldValidator (no AJAX) on the author and I think the subject and body fields.
