Windows Vista ships in less than a week from now. So are your ready? I am not going to be ready until I see some really good applications launched for Vista that makes it a must have.
By the way, students are getting Windows Vista Business Edition from the University of Houston Clear Lake for $10. You need to be enrolled for the semester and you need to show your ID to get a copy. One copy per student. That is a real sweet deal, $10 for something that retails for $300.
Time for me to be back to school again?
I don't think so.
But I have to admit, it's quite attractive for that deal. I did get my first VS.net using this way though (cost $40 or $50? can't remember).
Nice work on posting the smiley images with the textbox. How did you do it? I know FreeTextBox did not publish their source code. Did they provide some API? Just curious.

Wow, it works now in Firefox!
Did you download a new version of FreeTextBox?
I think the old FreeTextBox is not compatible with the new version of Firefox. The Firefox on your PC is probably the old version. But I have downloaded several new versions.
But it's a relief
By the way, in IE, when I click on the smily image, it will show up in the right position. While in Firefox, I need to drag and drop.

Re: Are you ready?
FreeTextBox does not come with the source code, but I looked at it's JavaScript and used that to add the Images/Smilies . Yes, I installed the latest version of FreeTextBox.
BTW I did not test it with Firefox . Glad to hear it is working for you. Also can you test the Images/Smilies again in Firefox? I uploaded the JavaScript for the Images/Smilies again and it started working for Firefox. Also the drag and drop seems to be a Firefox feature. If you drag and drop a smiley it puts a wierd html tag in the comment though.
